In memory of Mrs. Cecilia Chan
 The
PSA is deeply saddened to inform you that Mrs. Cecilia Chan (陳紫鈺老師),
a past student in the 1950's, and teacher at our primary school from the
60's to 90's, had peacefully returned to God on 25 March 2008 due to
lung cancer.
Mrs. Chan has nurtured
generations of young St. Marians throughout her three decades at the
school. Her passion in teaching and her gentle manners have been
inspiration to many, and the memory will always remain in our hearts.
Details of Mrs. Chan's
visitation and funeral are as follows:
7 April 2008 (Monday) - Visitation and Mass
Time: Visitation 6-10pm (Eulogy
at 7:30pm, Mass of the Resurrection from 8-9pm)
Place: International Funeral Parlour (8 Cheong Hang Road, Hung Hom,
Kowloon)

8 April 2008 (Tuesday) - Funeral
Time: 9-11:30am, followed by
lunch

has been dedicated to evangelization (spreading the good news of
Christ) since her retirement. She once said that renewal in
the Holy Spirit is crucial to evangelization. Therefore,
in lieu of
flowers, donations can be made to the following organizations:

All contributions received during the funeral
will also be evenly donated among these three organizations.

Memorial Mass
A special memorial mass will be
offered for Mrs. Cecilia Chan on 14 April 2008 (Mon) at 7:15 pm in the
Rosary Church on behalf of all St. Marians and teaching staff. All past
students are welcomed to join.
In this time of loss, let us
all keep Mrs. Cecilia Chan and her family in our prayers.
