Marian in Action

Who are we?

“Marian in action” was formed by a group of past St. Marians in 2004. Under the nurture of our mother school, we grew up adopting a righteous attitude and strived to become modest and responsible members of our community. To thank our school, we would like to contribute our efforts in passing this noble virtue of St. Mary’s to the younger generations.

What do we do?

To achieve our aim, we started with organizing social services. Other than serving the needy in our community, we hope to act as a bridge between both present and past St Marians and provide opportunities for experience sharing and exchange of ideas.

Last year we had regular monthly service to St Joseph’s Home for the Aged in Sheung Shui. The service was co-organized by volunteers from both present and past students. Other than meeting the elderly, we also had sharing session at the end of each service, which allowed us to share afterthoughts or other topics that we were interested in.

The above service will be continued throughout the year. We would also like to develop other kinds of programs in the future if more past students from different fields of society can be recruited. Your help will definitely make this program more beneficial to our mother school. We need your support! Do join our group now!
